The 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games also known as the ‘Friendly Games’ will begin with the opening ceremony on Thursday 28th July 2022 and then close on Monday 8th August!

That’s just 238 days away!

The Queens Baton was handed over by the Queen at Buckingham Palace on the 7th October to the PARA Olympian, Ms KADEEMA COX who might we add is a 4 times GOLD medallist and also currently taking part in the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here with Ant and Dec! 

With the baton traveling to 72 nations with over 294 days of travelling which works out at around 90,000 miles (140,000 kilometres) and then finally arriving at the opening ceremony on the 28th July.

Currently the baton has just left Botswana and will arrive in St Helena early in December before travelling around South Africa and spending Christmas Eve in the Seychelles.
